Madlyn-Ann C Woolwich was born and educated in Massachusetts,obtained BS and M.Ed degrees from Bridgewater College, MA, with further studyat Parso’s School of Design, the American Academy of design, NYC, TheUniversity of Massachusetts andBrookdale College. She is the winner of over 135 awards locally, statewidenationally, and internationally.

She has written two books, Pastel Interpretations, and TheArt of Pastel Portraiture.

She has been included in Who’s Who of American Women, Who’sWho in American Art, Who’s Who in American Education, Outstanding Artists ofthe Twentieth Century, InternationalWho’s Who of Intellectuals, as well as AskArt.com. She was one of 50 pastel artist with thedesignation Master Pastellist.

The French Impressionists strongly influenced herlandscapes, flowers, gardens and still lives. She has exhibited in the following galleries:

Evergreen Gallery, Spring lake NJ; Art Forms Gallery, RedBank, NJ ; Swain Galleries, Plainfield, NJ; Salamagundi Club, NYC; Rockport ArtAssociation, Rockport, MA ; and Lupine Gallery, Mohegan Island, ME.

Her art has been included in exhibitions of the NationalArts Club, Salmagundi Club, Cork Gallery of Lincoln Center, and Lever House in NYC. Museums include Monmouth Museum, Bergen Museum,and Newark, Hermitage, and Quincy Museum, IL .

She has been included in Who’s Who of American Woman; Who’sWho in American Art, and Who’s Who inthe World. She has been included as wellin Outstanding Artists of the 20^th Century and International Who’sWho of Intellectuals. She was anational/international judge, juror, lecturer, and author, and a National VicePresident for Knickerbocker Artists, USA.
