This is a wonderful city scape by American artist Frederick Woodland. It is oil on canvas and signed lower right. This is vivid "freeze frame" of New York City. It is custom framed

in a lovely silver frame. There are some scratches on the frame, please

see photos. This is 1 of 3 that I have by the artist, all NY city scapes, all work together or apart.

Frederick Woodland

Frederick Woodland, Jr., was born in 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland. He studied at the Pratt Institute and Maryland Institute. Mr. Woodland received a Master of Fine Arts in painting

in 1975, as well as a fellowship, at Cornell University.

For over two decades, Mr Woodland has lived, taught and painted in upstate New York, and New York City. He uses bold brush strokes and vivid colors to capture his impressionistic city and landscapes paintings.
